Shipping & Returns



PAYMENT OPTIONS: At this time we accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card. If we are unable to process payment on your credit card, please ensure the credit card number and expiration date were entered correctly and that the billing name and address exactly match your credit card statement. If any of these are incorrect, it may delay your shipment. You will be notified via email or phone if a problem exists with the payment information you provided during checkout.
SALES TAX: State Sales Tax is calculated based on the taxing jurisdiction of the shipping address provided by the customer at checkout. We are required to collect tax on shipping and handling charges in the state of California. If you have questions about the taxes on your order, please call us toll free at 1.800.654.5992.
Backorder Policy
If you place an order for an item that is not in stock, you will be notified by email with the estimated shipping date of your backordered item. If you place an order for multiple items and one or more are not in stock, the available portion of you order will ship and you will be notified by email with estimated shipping dates for the unavailable items.
Shipping & Delivery
At this time SKB Direct is only able to ship within the continental US via United Parcel Service (UPS). We are unable to ship to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. Please click the Contact Us link to send us an email request for more information on international distributors that may be able to assist you with orders shipping outside the continental US.
Orders are shipped every business day (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays). All in stock standard orders will be shipped within 4-5 business days following credit card authorization and verification, and order processing. Exceptions to this include orders that are placed on Friday after 11:00 AM PST, over a weekend, or on a holiday; these orders will be processed on the next working business day. Orders shipping via Standard UPS Ground can take up to 5 business days for delivery (certain locations and service interruptions or failures caused by events beyond SKB’s control may also delay delivery.)
EXPRESS SHIPPING: All in stock standard orders shipping via UPS Express Service placed prior to 11:00 AM Pacific Standard Time, Monday-Friday (excluding Holidays), will ship the same day; orders placed after 11:00 AM PST or over a weekend will ship the next working business day. Orders with items that are currently backordered will ship via UPS Express upon completion or receipt of backordered items. Express delivery is guaranteed except in the event of service interruptions or failures caused by events beyond SKB’s control.
Privacy & Security
SKB knows that our online customers are concerned about data security and privacy and we take these concerns very seriously. One of the ways that we protect your Personal Information is by accepting orders only from browsers that communicate through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology. When we ask you for a credit card number, the information will be SSL encrypted. Personal Information is stored in a secure environment protected by a combination of physical and technical measures. The information may be kept in separate locations or it may be aggregated into reports, lists or databanks. There is no general public access to this information. In some cases, the Personal Information may be encrypted before you conduct your transaction, using appropriate secure technology. If you send us correspondence such as email or postal mail, or contact us by phone, we may collect such information in a file specific to you. These files will also be stored in secure locations.
Always keep in mind, however, that the Internet is not a secure system and you should always be cautious about the information you disclose while you are online. Although we take steps to protect your Personal Information against loss, misuse and alteration, we cannot absolutely guarantee the security of your Personal Information provided over the Internet and we will not be responsible for loss, misuse or alteration of the Personal Information.
Similarly, while we continually strive to evaluate and implement enhancements in security technology, it is important for you to take steps to reduce the potential for fraud, misuse or unauthorized access to your Personal Information. This includes such things as choosing a hard-to-decipher, random password, keeping your password private, using up to date anti-virus software and spyware blockers, avoiding public or shared computers and keeping abreast of the latest scams. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, all major credit card companies protect cardholders against fraud, subject to a $50.00 deductible. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.
Like most website operators, SKB Cases collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. SKB Cases' purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how SKB Cases' visitors use its website. From time to time, SKB Cases may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
SKB Cases also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. SKB Cases does not use such information to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described on our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Return Policy
SKB is committed to your satisfaction, so please contact us immediately if there's something wrong with your order. A Return Authorization Number is required for all returns to SKB. In order to acquire a RA Number, you must contact us within 30 days of your original invoice date; orders exceeding 30 days are ineligible for return. SKB will schedule a Call Tag pickup for all items that have been received damaged or defective, or if SKB has made a mistake on your order. If you would like to return an item for any other reason, you will be responsible for return shipping costs to SKB, and a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable and SKB is not responsible for the cost of shipping items back for return on orders where SKB is not at fault. You will receive a refund to your credit/debit card within 2-3 days once a return has been received and inspected. Warranty Information
All SKB ATA and iSeries Hard Cases are fully warranted to the original owner against defects in materials and craftsmanship for the lifetime of the case. Any defects in workmanship will be covered by SKB. SKB WILL NOT REPLACE CASES DUE TO DAMAGED HARDWARE: all latches, handles, and wheels have been made field replaceable and will be supplied to you at no charge with free priorty shipping through USPS. All Freedom and Hunter Series Sports Cases are fully warranted to the original owner for five (5) years against defects in materials and craftsmanship. Any defects in workmanship will be covered by SKB. Damages due to accident, improper care, negligence, or normal wear and tear, where SKB is not at fault, are NOT covered by SKB.
All SKB Soft products are fully warranted to the original owner for one (1) year against defects in materials and craftsmanship. Any defects in workmanship will be covered by SKB. Damages due to accident, improper care, negligence, or normal wear and tear, where SKB is not at fault, are NOT covered by SKB.
FOAM is not covered under the warranty for any type of case. Since SKB does not manufacture the foam, and therefore only orders enough foam to build cases, we are not able to stock or sell foam as replacement parts for most SKB sports cases.
